Imagine a world (and then imagine every world) where the first thing We ask a stranger is: “What do You like to play best?”

Today:

Bugses and skeeters Oh My

Wizard's Log Star-date: 04:07:21 AM

Good morning. At least We know why We woke up and got up early this morning. We just got out of night school. Well, actually, We are still processing the information and We knew that We can do that best at the keyboard. Our mind is racing and that itSelf is part of the information.

We think We got “Night School” typed up. We are going to let it sit a bit before proof reading it. We theel We may have more to add after it sits a while. We theel that We kinda “fell in” and may have forgotten some important points.

Obviously this “Night School” relates to summer school starting next week. Remember that before We started back to work in March the galactics and students told Us: “We want to work with You”. This class was another example of that in practice.

So, We finished and posted “Night School”. We went outside several times. Once We got up and went out to uncover some of Our plants and real-eyesed that the plastic was doing its job very well and (especially) since it was still below 60F out there it is best to leave “them” covered. Plus, since We were thinking morning sunlight and it was obviously shining bright and nice thru the plastic (and that is really the whole point) We left the plastic over everything. (It has plenty of room/opening for circulation at both ends).

We are thinking to get some more rock the jump out of the truck and into the driveway ruts. Then, if We get that done We will switch the truck and dragon to take the studded tires off the truck. Plus, We want to get everything else to get out of the back of the truck so We can try out Our 2 wheeled decoration tub and play with Our fort. In case We have not mentioned it, We think We have figured out how to store (out of the weatherish) the remainder of stuff under the storage that We want to tear down so that We can get it torn down this summer, without building another something that We don't really want. This idea will also make it easier to move and store the stuff that is currently stored at the back side of the cabin where We think We want to begin building the NEW storage with clear plastic greenhouse panels for a roof. It will be (unless it changes Our mind) semi-attached to the cabin side wall with the far wall (up on the cut bank) will be pallets (painted multicolor) with stuff planted inside for the first 4-8 feet anyway. Beyond that We want to try some of the ideas We've found online for building and planting and growing with recycled plastic bottles. Eventually We hope to add about 6 feet beyond the back of the cabin as a screened porch (or not). And if We live long enough have this whole side a Hobbitish growing from back to front with a gap for Our kitchen window. We would love a greenhouse window to replace Our current kitchen window and maybe someday. We might be able to not have the gap and still have full use of the kitchen window but We are gonna wait and see how it looks when We get there. This should not take more than 20-40 years to complete. We are planning to leave some of the trees etc. that are growing in the area We want to enclose. We think that We can prune back the trees and allow “them” to live there. It is going to be a real learning adventure regardless of what All We choose to do (or not do). We hope to have about a 4 foot wide covered flatish area (that is pretty much what is All-ready there) alongside the cabin and then another 4 foot wide covered area of cut bank. Then We hope to make a shelfish something a few feet above and alongside the flat area. With lots of stuff left naturally and also planted to grow everywhere.

WE added some decorations to Our fort and piddled at several things outside. We got the rest of the rock resting in the driveway ruts and switched the dragon and truck to take the studded tires off the truck. We added a support piece to Our outside play table for the ramp for Our floor jack that We have stored on the bottom shelf of the table. Our floor jack was One of the things We thought We needed to find a dry place to store when We tear down the old storage. We forgotted that We had it stored in Our table. The support piece makes the top of the ramp level with the shelf so Our jack does not have to jump hurdles getting on and/or off the shelf. We are absolutely certain that jack will appreciate this. We should be All set to do the tires tomorrow. We could actually do “them” today but We are practicing doing things slow and gentle.

The mosquitoes drove Us out of Our fort. Even though We are not getting bitten (or the citronella is stopping/preventing the itch which We have NEVER read about) the little devils are still annoying. We do hope to learn to appreciate “them” and “their” mission and/or message but We are NOT there yet. Harmony, some day. We also have some type of green bug that is worse than ever this year. We've had “them” out here as far back as I can remember. My friends in town only noticed “them” last year. We have only ever noticed “them” on Our outhouse before. We would see a few and then it would be totally covered for a few days and then “they” poofed. This year “they” are literally everywhere. “They” even fly up My pant legs and the buggers bite when scared. “They” have been hanging around for at least two weeks and every day We think, AH, tomorrow “they” will poof (disappear) like every other year. It isn't working. Each day there are more and more and “they” are definitely massing. We really prefer the poofing. The white fan We had out in the fort for skeeters is now green because it is literally covered with these bugs.
