Today:
Dream ideas
Wizard's Log Star-date: 05:36:19 AM
Good morning.
More great worlds with more great friends and lots of play. We woke
thinking of imaginating and being onboard ship. We thought We were
wide awake but now We are not so sure. We could easily go back to
dream and probably will. We expected the energies to continue to
support dreaming over doing so We are okay with whatever comes. We
think.
Another
challenge for Us currently is learning to stay in the now (and then
trusting it). Yes, this has also been an ongoing experience linked to
letting go. Staying in the now is empowering and hence totally
unsupported by Our society and its teachings. We plan everything and
project into the (unknown) future All Our beliefs and limitations.
Whether that future is five minutes or five years is unimportant. It
is NOT now. The now can be a very relaxing and powerful moment if it
is not filled with fear and worry. Often We think: “If I don't do
it now, it will never get done”. Time and time again We have
(personally) proven this wrong.
We are learning
new ways of living. It is simple but not easy. Our dreams are filled
with lives of play and freedom and friends everywhere We turn. We do
not remember many of the details because it is too unfamiliar and
nearly unbelievable to Our waking mind. We are being introduced
gently to these ways of living by repeated dream experiences so that
“they” become familiar. Then, when We are ready “they” will
leak into Our waking. Trying to force OurSelf to “do” in waking
will only result in more of what We do NOT want. We are certain of
this. Our heart mind is very relaxed and okay with just hanging out.
Our head is having a very hard time.
Our head still
thinks it lives in a world of lack, suffering, strife and struggle.
The same as most people's beliefs. We (Our heart) knows that We do
not live there anymore but this shift of power (so to speak) from Our
head to Our heart has (really) only just begun. We live in a world of
limitlessness, freedom and ease. It is even a world of pleasure.
Imagine that.
As We sit here,
We are reminded that We are doing something very important for
OurSelves and Our world. Right now We are very comfortable with
letting Our mind travel and NOT get into trying to “do
something”. We have a lot of
experience and practice at NOT “doing something”,
it is the being okay
with it that is new. In the old
world if things were not tended do and done on time etc., it was a
failure at some level or another. In the new energies, this is not
the case. We have the energy and desire to do or not to do on the
right schedule regardless of any calender or timepiece and regardless
of appearances and preconceived ideas. Again, Our heart mind is okay
with this but Our head is rebelling.
It
is very nice to relax and allow Our mind to be aware of being and
living in an expanded world. To just see and feel
the
scenery. To feel the existence of Our cabin that the front opens to
everything and the side opens into an enchanted forest. To feel the
enchantment, to hold the vision of a path through everything is very
comforting. Letting Our mind wander that path is great. We also feel
Our presence onboard ship. At this time We are mostly just observing
from there. Observing and sending support and encouragement.
As We wander around outside doing a little here and
feeling a little there We are also getting more insights into what is
happening. We are learning to feel rather than (maybe in conjunction
with) thinking. Letting “things” tell Us how and where and what
“they” want to be and feeling it. Taking it easy and gentle, the
way the world is really meant to be.
There
is a lot about pressuring OurSelf. We addressed this in and around
work but now We are applying “NOT
pressuring”
OurSelf around evolving Our cabin/earthship. We really like the term:
earthship. Even though Our frame cabin doesn't much resemble any
pictures online Our forest does. That brings up some of what We are
getting about Our gardening. Looking back, We remember that: A: We
live in a forest. B: We want Our garden and forest to mostly take
care of itSelf. C: We do NOT want to have to keep “replanting”
Our garden every year.
Of course, Our head tells Us that living in Alaska We
can NOT grow veges and fruits outside unless We replant every year.
However, that is not what Our feelings say. Most of Our plans (about
gardening and many other aspects) are based in Our head. “Trust
Your feelings.” Now where have We heard that before??????? A Jedi
gardener? Well, this is an earthship We are evolving here.
There seems to be some ideas coming that may allow Us to
tear down the old storage without building something that We do NOT
want first. Could it be??????
We
have gotten some painting done, the playful kind. We have even
started painting a pallet that We “think”
will
be a part of the Hobbitish add on that We are maybe, sorta, kinda
planning/envisioning. We got out the garlic and asparagus that We
bought early in the spring (while it was actually still winter) to
see if We want to get about planting “them”. We had thought We
would plant “them” in pots but that just isn't where We are
feeling. We will probably stick some in pots that We All-ready have
set up and maybe another day/lifetime put some in new pots. We do
still have a full bag of potting soil that We have not used. The
garlic has started growing so We theel We had best get going with
that.
Once again We come up against the problem of digging
here. The pots would alleviate this problem but..................
Perhaps We will need/want to consider building at least One raised
bed for next year????????????? Perhaps.
A dream break seemed like a good idea and though it did
not seem like We actually went to sleep We DID have some good ideas
for planting and raised beds and what makes the world go 'round. We
have lots of scrap lumber here and there. Raised beds do NOT need to
be pretty. Since We are on a hillside, We could actually just do One
sided raised beds and terrace if We need more space(s). We have
garden soil, so We could plant a board (We have a bunch of short
pieces of rebar to use for support) and We could just stick stuff in
the ground (barely) and add as much soil as the hole is supposed to
be deep. We are brilliant. Now, will it work?
We got the rest of Our garlic planted. We did some
behind the cabin, that was also part of Our dream ideas. The rest We
did in Our insta-raised bed. Next will be the asparagus but that may
be another day. We will probably want to add more soil to the garlic
as rain and watering pack this new soil. We think We will probably
also tent plastic over it. Lots of plants do much better here in a
greenhouse type set up.
The
plastic is over the garlic. We tried to get it secure yet able to be
moved to add soil and open up on bright sunny days. We also placed in
a way that rain water should
run
onto the uphill edge of the new soil and hopefully water the garlic.
It is All experimental and learning for Us but it was sure a lot
easier than trying to dig holes for the garlic and trenches for the
asparagus. We have only barely begun on the asparagus bed. We are
doing much better at doing a little and then taking a break and then
doing some more. Progress.
Our asparagus is planted and watered. We just need/want
to get plastic over it as it does look like it will rain soon. We
will definitely need to add more soil but that is how the directions
say to plant it. Worked out well as We had All-most enough store
bought soil to do a two inch cover like the directions say. We will
be in town tomorrow for bid day for summer school and will hopefully
remember to get more soil We want to save the more expensive potting
soil for potting. Whether or not these quickie raised beds work
remains to be seen (now We wonder if the weed blocker carpet under
the garlic was a good idea since that will also stop its roots from
going very deep). Oh well. Garden and learn. We did not put carpet
under the asparagus. We do think that as We add soil to the garlic it
will do fine and the roots can All-ways spread if not go deep. No
roots go very deep here anyway and We really did want to stop the
other roots from crowding out the garlic.
This may not be any faster than digging but it sure is a
lot easier. We do feel that now We know what it was that was holding
Us back about the planting since We were NOT planning on doing the
raised beds before Our dream break today. Well, that and All the shit
We are learning about OurSelf and processing everything that We are
processing and the world/global energies and and and........
It is All-most time for dinner (Shadow says it IS time
for dinner) and We want to get the plastic over the asparagus before
dinner. We did a quickie job on the plastic because it turns out that
to do it the way We want would take more effort than We have
available. We know that if We tried to do better We would just a mess
of it so best to let it be. It is adequate but would not let in much
sun or give good protection as We add more soil and the plants start
to grow.
